Logic & Rhetoric Senior Thesis

Elizabeth Spradley, Ph.D., teaches Rhetoric II, also known as senior thesis, at Regents Academy. Her educational background includes a BA in Speech Communication with a double major in Radio/TV and a MA in Communication from Stephen F. Austin State University and a doctoral degree in Communication from Texas A&M University. Recently she has been awarded for her research – an article of the year for a co-authored study published in Journal of Communication Pedagogy and a research excellence award at Stephen F. Austin State University. She and Dr. R. Tyler Spradley were married in 2002 and have four boys – Micah, Ethan, Daniel, and Joshua. As a family, they love to laugh, watch old movies and TV shows, enjoy nature, travel, and study God’s Word. One of their favorite traditions is the annual engraving of a silver bell and cross for their Christmas tree. One of the bells is adorned with their family motto, “Struggle well for His glory.”
