4-H

The recent Regents 4-H Club was on the 4-H Food Challenge. Members were given food preparation instructions, a “shopping list,” and fake money to purchase items from the table-top grocery store to prepare a dish to present to the judge. There were four teams, and each team member participated in the preparation of the dish. Once the time limit was up, each team member presented some aspect of the preparation. Students were awarded 1st – 4th place by judge and 4-H member, Esther Fairley, giving reasons for the rankings. Once awards were given, members enjoyed eating their food creations.

The next 4-H Club meeting will be on November 1st at 3:45 PM in the Great Room. New members or interested students are welcome to attend.
